How many portable toilets do I need for my special event?

The number of portable toilets depends on your guest count, event duration, and whether alcohol is served. As a general guideline: For a 4-hour event, plan for 1 portable toilet per 50 guests. For all-day events (8+ hours), increase to 1 toilet per 35-40 guests. If alcohol is served, plan for 1 toilet per 30-35 guests as usage increases. For weddings, we recommend adding at least one executive trailer for the bridal party and VIP guests. Construction site events need 1 toilet per 20 workers. Food festivals and events with handwashing requirements need additional handwashing stations (1 per 100-150 guests). For beach events, we position portable toilets on stable, level surfaces near your event area (we coordinate with venue requirements and local permits). Parks often have designated areas for portable toilet placement – we’re familiar with most major Oahu parks and their regulations. For locations without vehicle access, we can arrange hand-carry service for shorter distances. Week-long events receive daily or every-other-day service based on attendance and usage levels. Large festivals with 1,000+ daily attendees may need twice-daily service for high-traffic periods. We create custom service schedules to ensure your guests always have clean, well-maintained facilities throughout your entire event. Service can be scheduled during event hours or overnight, depending on your preference and event schedule.
